Villa Moorings (3 storeys plus cellars) was built in Liberty style in 1924. A complete restorations was carried out in 2006. On the ground flour there is a large terraced breakfast room, 2 sitting rooms (one for our little guests), the reception, internet point, and a large bar. All ceilings are decorated by Bruno Cordati a famous local artist of the time. Villa Moorings is situated in the centre of Barga, but is vary private and reserved surrounded by 5.000 square meters of a large and magnificent garden with private parking and swimming pool (7x14) with hydro massage. Barga (province of Lucca, in Tuscany) is one of the 100 most famous mediaeval towns in Italy and is immersed in the green and relaxing scenery of the Tuscan valley of the Serchio River. A very relaxing and beautiful scenery for tranquillity, beauty and excursions. Many famous town and cities are near at hand: 45 minutes by car from Lucca; 1 hour from the see of Versilia; 1 Ό hours from Pisa; 1 Ύ hours from Florence; 1 ½ hours from Abetone (famous Tuscan skiing resort).
On the first floor there are 2 junior suites with adjoining bathroom and another large terrace and 4 smaller double bedrooms with bathroom. Here also we have decorated ceilings in the halls outside the bedrooms. On the top floor there is 1 junior suite with adjoining bathroom with a panoramic view of the whole valley, 2 large bedrooms with one bathroom in between and another two bedrooms with one large bathroom (suitable for families or friends). The remaining double bedroom has its own private bathroom. Each of the twelve bedroom has: telephone, satellite tv, internet connection and a small safe. Breakfast included.
